Tom Paule Photography Web Site – Launched!

January 2nd, 2013

tompaule

I always enjoy announcing web site launches.  We recently launched a web site for an incredible photographer, Tom Paule.  His previous site was a template which he purchased through a photography template company.  Although it seemed inexpensive and quick to launch, it ultimately turned out to be ineffective.  Hassles with uploading, downtime, and customer service discouraged Tom from keeping it up regularly.  He also had various sites to showcase his different specialties (corporate, family, weddings, etc).  This left his clients confused and unable to take advantage of additional services… simply because, they didn’t know additional services existed.  Instead of his web site being his #1 sales tool, it became a liability.

We were proud that Tom Paule chose us to re-think his on-line identity! Now, the site represents all his specialities in an attractive and organized manner.  He’s thrilled with the results and so are we!

Belli Fiori Logo

October 18th, 2012

Recently, we had the pleasure of designing a logo and branding for Belli Fiori, a floral design studio in St. Louis.  They recently purchased a new building and are planning on tremendous growth in their special event and bridal business.  They wanted a simple and neutral design that would speak to both their wedding and corporate clients.  They were so happy with our work, that Flavors Media was hired  to do their print advertising and web design!

Beauty Of The Bistro Web Site

September 16th, 2012

We were proud to launch one of our favorite web sites!  Beauty of The Bistro is a food truck that has a huge following. Rightfully so… their casual yet gourmet menu makes people come from all over Kansas to taste their edible creations.  The owners wanted a fun web site that would reflect their personality yet make their customers’ web experience fast and easy.  Needless to say, they love their new site!   You can visit them at www.beautyofthebistro.com

Hanging out at Channel 4′s Great Day St. Louis

April 3rd, 2012

As the founder of Partytipz.com, I was very lucky to have been invited to Channel 4′s Great Day St. Louis to showcase our two delicious recipes for St. Patrick’s Day.  We featured the very healthy and green Luck of the Irish – Emerald Salad and delicious Dublin Deviled Eggs.

Below is a link to our segment, in case you want to see the recipes.  They are great for St. Patrick’s Day or anytime of the year. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO .

The crew on Great Day St. Louis, as always, made us feel at home and relaxed.  I was interviewed by Matt Chambers, one of the hosts on Great Day, and he had me laughing throughout my interview.  Many people have asked me before if Matt is as funny in person as he is on camera and the answer is YES!!!  Matt is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with.  And the segments I did with Carol have always been fun… if you’ve ever been on Great Day, you know that Carol has this incredible ability to make you feel relaxed.  Although I have never worked with Virginia and Kent, they also seem to be very nice and funny.

Big kudos goes out to Karen Hohlen, our Partytipz.com sous chef and assistant for the day.  Karen made sure everything was set-up properly and looked beautiful… she did a great job!

Thanks to Mary Tuttle’s for the plates, silverwear, topiary trees, and jute rug (we used for a placemat).  They also provided the beaded Mariposa tray for the cookies. The dragonfly napkin ring actually had wings which moved!

Colleen’s Cookies provided the St. Patrick’s Day themed cookies.  They didn’t make it on camera, but were winners nevertheless!

Petals Galore provided the adorable three leaf clover arrangement in a silver mint julep cup (in front of the topiary trees).  I have never seen a three leaf clover plant, so it was incredible to see the flowers they produced and how gorgeous it can be as a centerpiece on St. Patrick’s day.  I believe they are only about $3.50 a plant, so they are cost effective as well!

I Don’t Mean To Brag — But I LOVE My Clients — Ahem, Bosses!!

December 22nd, 2011

They say that working for yourself is like being your own boss. I don’t always agree with that. I like to think that I work for 72 bosses who all happen to be my clients. The thought of this may scare some people, but when the Holidays come around, it’s not so bad having 72 bosses!! This is a gift from one of them. I happen to do all the web marketing for Colleen’s Cookies and this year, she sent me this delicious box of beautiful cookies. The Russian nesting dolls are reflective of my Russian heritage. Colleen made my day!

Chocolate Deviled Bundt Cake

November 21st, 2011

No doubt, there is a very strong connection between the holidays and baking.  For some, baking is a form of gift giving, for others, such as myself, it is a way to make my house smell delicious, festive, and welcoming.

Last week I made this delicious Chocolate Deviled Bundt Cake.  I had to photograph it because, knowing my love for trying new recipes, I hardly ever make anything more than once.  The chocolate cake was filled with melted marshmallows, candied cherries, and walnuts.  It was topped with a chocolate glaze and fresh strawberries.  In the middle I put a container filled with whipped cream so when someone would slice into the cake, they could put a dollop of whipped cream on top.  The word DELICIOUS would not describe it…Okay, so chances are, I will probably have to make this cake again… and again!!!
